Reinventing the landscape. These paintings comprise five panels of transparent acrylic glass with ten layers of paint. The result is a 3D kinetic artwork that blends classic techniques with a modern aesthetic. The frame is crafted from a seamless, hand-sanded piece of transparent acrylic, allowing natural light to illuminate the painted layers.

Collected Oil Paintings

These oil paintings capture the beauty of Western trees, inspired by my road trips, camping, and hiking adventures. I create these artworks on canvas and linen, blending traditional and contemporary styles. Using a technique reminiscent of classical realist painters, I layer and glaze over ten layers of paint in each piece. This method adds rich depth and luminescence, bringing the paintings to life. Whether the palette is tonal or employs bright, Fauvist colors, each artwork reflects my appreciation for tonalism, abstract expressionism, and Fauvism.
